Region 10 - Championships - Quality At Its Best

With only five regional shows before it, the Region 10 Championship Horse Show takes place mid-June at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul, Minn. Centrally located within the United States, its location is important to handle the large amounts of people who come annually to compete against quality Arabians, and with its perfect heat to humidity ratio at this time of year, there are no complaints. The show had a fully packed schedule with classes for every exhibitor, including quite a few equitation classes for adult and youth riders alike—Region 10’s final class on Sunday, a hunt seat equitation class, was deep with a total of 18 entries! Also well attended is the ever popular Barn Party, where all the barns participate by providing a dish of their choice, set up in front of their stalls for all to enjoy. Having many years under its belt, this event keeps getting better and never disappoints. It is a perfect opportunity for everyone to get together and have some fun. New this year was the crowning of a Mr. and Ms. Region 10, the honors going to Dan McConaughey and Madison Rose—a fun addition to the show. From great people come great horses, and Region 10 is full of them!
